The cottage exceeded all expectations with its pristine condition and sparkling cleanliness. Its location, just a short walk from the center, offered tranquility while providing easy access to breathtaking countryside for walks. The kitchen was fully equipped, the decor was delightful, and the rocking chair in the main bedroom added an extra touch of coziness. The comfortable beds and ample storage space were a plus. The view of the canal, with boats passing by and the swing bridge in action, was simply mesmerizing. The town itself was charming, with plenty of dining options and local attractions. With nearby supermarket and lovely canal towpath walks, this cottage served as an excellent base for exploring Harrogate, RHS Harlow Carr, and the surrounding countryside. Parking was convenient and free. Our experience here was absolutely amazing, and we highly recommend it.

The room at Canal View was cozy and comfortable, giving me a warm feeling like I was at home. The bathroom with a bath or shower was perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring.

Personally, I would have preferred a second bathroom with a shower instead of a bath. But I understand that others may enjoy a nice soak in the tub.

Very clean. Kitchen well kitted out. Decor lovely. Rocking chair in main bedroom! Beds comfy. Plenty of storage space. Great view of the canal, watching boats go by and swing bridge in action. Short walk to town with plenty of places to eat. Supermarket nearby. Beautiful canal towpath for walks. Free parking. Highly recommended.

Lack of information about refuse arrangements and recycling. Some confusion with household equipment like the shower.

The cottage's location is perfect for hopping on your bikes and exploring the stunning cycling routes nearby. We had a blast pedaling along the scenic towpaths of the canal and discovering charming spots like Jam Pudd. The cottage itself was lovely, clean, and well-equipped, with comfy beds and a rocking chair in the main bedroom. We also enjoyed the fantastic view of the canal, watching the boats pass by and even witnessing the swing bridge in action. Being just a minute's walk from town, we had plenty of great dining options and places to explore. Highly recommended for an adventurous family getaway!

My wife says that some clearer instructions regarding household equipment, like the shower, would have been helpful for families with children.

The cottage itself is clean and well-maintained, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. There is plenty of storage space and lovely decor throughout. Guests can enjoy walks along the canal towpath and visit nearby places like Ilkley and Harrogate.

On-street parking can be difficult to find, especially during peak times.
